How can I influence people to not breed their pets?

There are so many unwanted pets in the world now. A lot are pure breds. Please think twice before you breed them. Most of the litter will not have a good life!|||You can tell them that 11,000 cats and dogs are euthanized in the US daily, around the clock. You can tell them that 25% of them are purebreds and that there will never be enough homes for all puppies and kittens that are produced. AND tell them that each time a puppy or kitten is born...that one already born will be killed in a shelter because it has no home.





And tell them that half of every litter is either abused, starved, and killed.


Andi|||If you can figure out a way to convince people that they don't need a litter out of their dog just because they can and because they love it, let me know! Same problem in the horse world, too :(|||I disagree with this. Ok yes there are alot of homeless animals but there are more people who are trying to help them, and adopting. Not EVERY single dog can be adopted. At my local animals shelter, they get mammas and 12 puppies dropped of four times a day, they are strays that got pregnant and someone found them. Its impossible for everyone to get out. I have one papered dog, a dog i got frm my neighbor cause they were going to put her down, 2 dogs we bought and a pup i saved. But i donate dog food all the time thats how i help, but i also stud my male 2 pound chihuahua.|||make them breed with you instead|||Nothing is wrong with breeding animals. If they do it right, many don't and they should be sent to prison for abusing the animals.|||show them photos of animals that were treated badly and tell them this will happen to the animals they give away.
