When can you start introducing your pup to other pets?

Shes 8 weeks old... only has her first shots. Is it safe to start introducing her to other pets... I have a bunny but im not sure if shes safe to go near its cage. I know it's not a good idea to let them near other dogs but what about other animals such as cats, bunnies, ferrets etc?|||You can introduce her to the other pets whenever you are ready. She should be on a leash and the other animal should be contained in some way (like a cage). It would be a good idea to have another person to help and manage the other pet. As long as the other pet is healthy, then it should be OK.

You do need to correct any unwanted behaviour from your puppy right away. If you don't want her to be rough with the bunny, don't allow it from the first meeting. Get her to be calm. Some sniffing around the cage it good, but don't let her paw at the cage or try to get at the pet.|||i would start introducing her to new dogs when she is one year old because it needs to interact with others. hope i helped. =-)|||The puppy should be fine around other animals. The only problems you may encounter with is allergies to the other pets or allergies to the kinds of stuff you use with your other pets(bedding, food, etc.). Hope this helped! :)
